Good Grief Facilitator

Sarah Serning, facilitator

Sarah Heymans Serning

Sarah Heymans Serning trained as a Psychotherapist, having completed a doctorate in Buddhist Studies. She now works as a senior tutor in Humanities at the University of Bristol.

Having run a counselling service and private practice, Sarah has worked with many people experiencing grief, loss and bereavement. Grief comes in many forms, via the death of loved ones across our life span, and also through other key experiences such as the breakdown of attachment relationships and separation from the things we value.

Sarah has a particular interest with the manifestations of these experiences in the body, using yoga as well as talking therapy to understand grief’s poignant place and function within the human condition.
