Peaches Golding OBE

Lord-Lieutenant Lois Patricia (Peaches) Golding OBE is a highly experienced, award-winning Executive and Non-Executive Director. She became Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol in 2017 and her commission runs until 2028. In 2010, Peaches was appointed High Sheriff of Bristol, the first black woman to be appointed by the Sovereign to this 1,000-year-old post.

Peaches has served on a number of organisations at a senior level including the Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust and the North Bristol NHS Trust. She’s also a member of the Ethnic Minority Business Forum and acts as the Home Office representative on the Avon and Somerset Police Authority as well as being a governor of both the University of the West of England and City of Bristol College.
